Green Goliath - large headed blue green variety bred especially for the home gardener. Plants can be harvested over a three week period as new side shoots continue to form after the center head is harvested.

CABBAGE
  • Stonehead -  early round rock solid 6 inch short cored crack resistant heads
  • Copenhagen - mid season variety that forms round solid heads 8 inches in diameter. Stores well. 
  • Ruby Perfection - mid season 7 inch diameter red cabbage. Stores well.
  • Savoy Ace - curly leaf cabbage good in salads or soups

KOHLRABI

Quickstar - wonderful little known vegetable that produces ball shaped bulbs above the ground.  Can be eaten raw or cooked like a turnip.  Bulbs should be harvested when they are about the size of an apple or they will get woody.

KALE

This nutritional powerhouse has become extremely popular in recent years. Very cold tolerant, it actually increases in flavor if allowed a few hard frosts in the fall
  • Blue Curled - standard blue curled variety
  • Red Russian - much taller (2 to 3 feet) than curled varieties with purple stems and giant oak shaped leaves\
  • Black Magic - rich dark colored leaves continue to appear all summer providing a continuous harvest.
  • Redbor - as pretty as it is tasty, the deep red leaves form on a mounding 18 inch tall plant
